Astrological Archetypes and Planetary Cycles
Over many years of study I have found that astrological archetypes and planetary cycles offer great insight into both our individual and collective experiences. Some of the people I work with find this information very helpful. I have studied astrology extensively through Kepler College of Astrological Arts and Sciences and the National Council for Geocosmic Research. I am happy to include astrological information for clients who find it helpful.
Recent studies have provided evidence that many stages of human development correlate with planetary cycles. For example, people in their late twenties will sometimes arrive at my office complaining about their Saturn return. Saturn has a cycle around the Sun that takes approximately 29 years. When it “returns” to the place it was at the time of your birth there is an activation of the themes associated with the archetype of Saturn. This archetype is related to being responsible, burdens, endings, work, time, finances, and being “down to earth”.
“I myself was skeptical until I conducted my own research. But the evidence is very compelling: There is an astonishingly consistent correlation between planetary alignments and the patterns of human experience.” Richard Tarnas Ph.D.
Correlations between planetary cycles and their associated archetypal themes follow human maturation phases. Examples include the Saturn Return, mentioned above, and also Mid-Life Crisis. And there are times when certain planetary influences create what can be described as astrological weather. At those times there are certain challenges and/or opportunities for growth based on the archetypes being activated. Having a general sense of how long certain themes will be activated can sometimes be a great relief when the associated experiences are challenging. We can get this type of archetypal weather report by checking your astrological information. I am happy to offer this free of charge.
